I am not a student, but I am a member of the public library. Can I use the Library?

Yes, you are more than welcome to come and use our Libraries.  You do not need a special card to come and use the Library for reference or reading, however if you do want to check items out, you will need to join the below scheme.

Libraries Together

The Libraries Together passport allows any current member of Swansea, Neath Port Talbot, Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire public library services to have free borrowing access at all public libraries covered by these areas along with free borrowing access at Swansea University (St David's Park, Carmarthen – Reference library only), Gower College, Neath Port Talbot College, Gorseinon College, Pembrokeshire College and Trinity Saint David. Please visit your nearest public library branch and join the library if you are not already a member. Ask for a Libraries Together passport stating which college or Higher Education library you want to join. Take the passport along to your chosen library, and they will register you as a borrower. This scheme is managed by SWAMP (South West And Mid Wales Partnership) and funded by CyMAL (Museums Archives and Libraries Wales).

Any visitor can use the library for reference purposes. There is a visitors wifi service available for use with your personal devices.

Residents of Swansea, Neath Port Talbot, Camarthenshire and Pembrokeshire are eligible for the Libraries Together scheme. For further information on borrowing rights please click here. Please note that there are restrictions in place for external borrowers.
